Defending the Faith — Camp 2026 (Apologetics)

Join us for an unforgettable week of faith, fellowship, and growth with the Honolulu Church of Christ as we focus on this year’s theme: Defending the Faith. In a world full of questions, pressures, and competing messages, this camp is designed to equip students (and families) to stand firm in Christ—confident in what they believe, why they believe it, and how to share it with truth and love.

This year we’re offering two connected experiences:

5-Day Overnight Summer Camp (age 8-18)
A high-energy week of worship, Bible teaching, small groups, games, and hands-on apologetics training. Campers will learn how to think clearly, ask good questions, and respond to real challenges to Christianity—at school, online, and with friends—without being argumentative.

3-Day Ohana Camp (Families / Parents Weekend)
A weekend experience where parents/guardians join in to learn alongside their kids. We’ll focus on how families can create a home environment where questions are welcomed, doubts are handled wisely, and faith is strengthened—so parents can support their kids and grow in confidence defending their own faith.

What we’ll cover (Core Components of Apologetics)

• Defending the Faith (Reasoning): Simple, practical ways to explain why belief in God is rational (design, cause, purpose).
• Providing Evidence (Evidence): Historical and biblical foundations—especially the reliability of Scripture and the resurrection of Jesus.
• Refutation & Persuasion (Communication): How to answer objections and have winsome conversations with gentleness and respect.

What to expect

Engaging lessons, interactive workshops, Q&A time, discussion groups, and “real life” practice scenarios—plus plenty of fun, worship, and time to build friendships.
